During the months of a dry season sediment with high concentrations of pollutants will accumulate on the roof and flow into the harvested rainwater. To avoid contaminating the stored water we recommend using a first flow diverter system to remove particulates and contaminants. The diverter can be simple or complex depending on the requirements and applicable health and/or environmental regulations.
