The City of San Diego now offers a rebate of .50 cents per gallon up to a $200 rebate. A wide range of tanks are available that meet this rebate. All the tanks on this website will qualify for the rebate.

Learn the basics of rainwater harvesting and setting up a system that can reduce water cost and improve plant health. We will have barrels for sale on site and go over which are eligible for a rebate.

News

Rebates are finally here. On January 15, 2011 the City of San Diego began a rain barrel rebate program. The City will offer a 0.50 per gallon rebate for up to a $200. rebate on an approved barrel or tank. More info here

On June 28, 2011 we received a permit for a shower greywater system. The project was a collaboration with the Department of Environmental Health and The City of San Diego. The shower greywater is diverted to a backyard orchard of citrus and stone fruit. An article about the process is here.
