Rain Barrel Basics
 Learn how to capture rainwater and reuse efficiently in your landscape to grow healthy and vibrant plants. We will go over how a rainwater harvesting system works from gutters to irrigation so you can get started this season. We will explain the details of the new rebate program and how to apply to receive the maximum benefit.  Topics include:  the inlet, outlet, overflow, first flush diverter, how to store water safely, protection from mosquitoes and algae and how to use the water in the landscape most efficiently. Small barrels and rain chains available for purchase.
